Happy World Radio Day. For the life of me, I couldn't imagine lasting a single day of picking strawberries on the Richmond farms, without my trusty Sony AM/FM radio. The heat, the boredom, listening to Ching Chong, Ling Long, Ting Tong in a smelly farm vehicle that wouldn't have passed any kind of safety test. 3 ton truck with nailed down benches, no seat belts, or windows. Smelly old ladies who probably never took a bath.......... Listening to CKLG helped me zone out.

In the winter evenings, listening to the Canucks play on CKNW. Back when they were in the Western Hockey League. Then Jack Cullen's Owl Prowl followed by, "The Shadow Knows." Ah, simpler times.

Dirty look from MG1 can melt steel beams.
