Not sure if any one has mentioned before in the previous pages, or if you were looking for a serious answer, but there was this rumor that the material used to make masks is the same as toilet paper and tissue paper. So, at least here ( in Japan) people started hoarding anything paper related...Costco Japan had to limit one pack per customer.
