IMO mental health is very important as well. As long as you are cautious(wear gloves for gas pumps, etc.), I don't see the risk of cruising around in your car being very high.
I played some video games this weekend to relax. It did the job but I feel so disconnected from reality. A cruise relaxes me but still connects me to the reality.

They have also banned serving alcohol, in an attempt to stop the idiots from being in gatherings. So instead of doing a full lockdown by force, they are attempting to just dissuade people from going out.
Stores can still sell though, so they'll all just go to 7-11 and do the same thing anyway

I doubt Hong Kong has much of a choice with Mainland China anyway...
