Not a bad price.

The main thing I dislike is the lack of a 3.5mm output as I can imagine many would love to be able to plug in a set of headphones while at my PC when not running the speakers (I know I would).

As a result I constructed my own 2.1 system with a mini tube amp, a self amplified sub (which fits neatly under the desk with it's own controller), and a set of Polk Signature S10 speakers to handle the mids and highs.

Sure, this setup is pricier than the self amplified offerings, but the sound quality is incomparable.
