As mentioned stretching into an FK8 CTR might be worth it. The shifter is top notch and we know it is very capable.
128i or 135i does make sense since you are used to BMW maintenance. E90 is a solid choice If you are ok paying for fuel and maintenance.
Golf R is up there in the top 3 choices.
As you know I went ITR again but I have a company car and an SUV.
