If you’re comparing to the 2016+ hatch, I feel the materials are a lot nicer in the Accord and the touchscreen display is definitely nicer and more responsive. Lots more space in the rear seats and trunk. Not sold on the LCD tach (can’t display fuel economy and tach at the same time? Lame). I wish you could get some of the Touring features in the Sport (or that they offered the Touring with a 6MT). Dealer-installed options are pricy.
If you want a manual mid-size sedan under $40k, I believe it’s the only option.

Pretty much right? As mentioned below by JDMDreams I specced out a base G70 RWD 6MT. That is a 50+ grand car said and done. Wish it was in the budget...
Although I would probably go for a 2er or 3er by that point in manual lol.

I think the taillight has grown on me at this point...

Great interior space, materials and lovely motor. I only drove the 10-speed version.

These things are the points that draws me towards this car.
Most reviewers have noted that while is fun to have that much power in a stick configuration on a family sedan, it does have quite a bit of torque steer due to the turbo and FWD.
I wish Toyota would put out a RWD stick option with 4 doors here.

There absolutely is for the 1.5T Auto/6MT and 2.0T Auto... My guy tells me there are 4 to 5 manuals available in 2.0T though
Thinking they never brought in that many manuals
