It's not the original battery; but the original was changed due to me being a bit less smart about these issues at that time. I replaced it with a Kirkland battery, and going back to it again due to the warranty.
From what I researched; it could be anywhere from poor QC from battery manufacturer, to alternator overcharging. The battery didn't look swelled so I don't think it's the alternator...
I have maintenance scheduled on the car two weeks from now so I'll definitely mention this issue though!
