It’s not cut in stone. Pick up the Continental or whatever and put it in, list it in your mods list so you’re upfront and send in your app. If they say no, there’s your answer. You can also give them a call ahead of time if you want and talk to them, I have done that before and even sent them photos to ask their opinion.
If they say no and you really really gotta have it in there, radios are pretty easy to install or remove hahaha, so keep the stock deck in the car and anything happens just throw it in.
For my MR2 I drove it almost every day so I suck it up and go with the stock deck and have a BT transmitter in my cigarette lighter, but if I drove it less I might risk manage it. I do know of a story of a guy with a classic Mustang who got worked in an accident cuz he had a CD player installed in the glovebox. I think everything with ICBC depends on who you get.
