Likewise, I'm proud of the people of Hong Kong for swiftly taking action on their own, to the point where they're basically a case study of the right way to handle the virus. And on top of that, the healthcare workers who formed a union overnight with thousands of members, going on strike to force the govt to shut down the border to China.
Even the protests which have been going on for almost a year by that point had been put on hold to prevent the virus from spreading. This isn't to call out protesters of other issues going on right now, but stands out to me as incredibly responsible. Compare that to people refusing to wear masks, claiming it infringes upon their rights (how many are the same who want to ban Burkas I wonder)
