We are talking about different cases then. I clearly remember hearing that it was a lady who worked there, went to Ontario or something and then came home.
Whatever the case, it's irrelevant.
The fact is, no matter what you do... unless you literally block entrance of EVERYONE, with no exceptions, the risk of someone with the virus coming in is no greater or less assuming restriction is in place.
We have to figure a way how to gradually work our way back. And not just wait until everything is done. Because sure... the benefit is that you minimize the chances, but then what? You fail to account all the unintended consequences... like people no longer want to come to BC because there's no longer reason for the person to do so.
Having a plan only makes things better. That's what I'm advocating. Having no plan and just wait... NEVER in my life has anything ever turned out good by picking that approach.
We as human like/prefer having a firm expectation... however long that expectation is.
