I'm assuming you have a new employer since the one I know about would know that this is a HUGE liability on both parties. If you're knowingly working as a contractor / self-employed, and you are ONLY working for this one company, the CRA may consider this as a way to evade payroll taxes. As a contractor or self employed individual, you set your own rates, schedule, and rules. If all of those things are set for you, you are effectively, an employee who's working with their employer to evade payroll taxes. This means you will not be covered under WorkSafe as well.
