New record over 100 cases in HK today. Stricter measures will be taken, starting with civil servants going WFH. The idea is that private companies will follow suit (LOL yeah right)

Masks are mandatory in all indoor public spaces. Before today, it was on public transportation only. Everyone (except drunk expats) wore a mask anyway
They are setting up testing centers everywhere, so high risk people can get tested any time. 400K free tests to start, focusing on taxi drivers, restaurant staff, elderly care home workers, etc
It's crazy that this outbreak came out of nowhere, as everyone (except drunk expats) was wearing masks all the time. Though things definitely got more crowded and people got more comfortable, they were still wearing masks. I still wore my mask all the time going out.
This strain is said to be way more contagious than the earlier one.
