of it is a lot more trees i noticed too, but i'm willing to bet not that many. a lot of the trees have just grown fuller over 30 years.
old neighbourhood in van I could look over and see the roads, english bay and down town over a stretch of 3 blocks about 150-200m away. but the same trees now, have completely blocked any light coming from that direction. and have grown tall enough to block the mountains from the skyline.
