Maybe Sakura and Pacific still are boss but non asians just don't know. It's like Seahorse matresses imo, white people won't know wtf you're talking about and in the grand scheme of things it will never get the recognition in the mainstream but we know for a fact that shit is solid and lasts at a fraction of the cost.
I swapped out the hood fan in our new townhome a year and a half ago because the one they installed was a super sad 400CFM model, for 2 years I constantly hear smoke alarms going off around the complex.
I ended up getting a Faber 30 inch 600CFM Cristal SS, it's pretty sleek and can slide in and out to turn on and off although I turn that setting off and just have it always out and manually turn on via the button instead. So far so good I guess, I had to get the motor replaced once because it was greased up as fuck. In hind site I probably didn't turn it on to a high enough setting when I'm doing crazy cooking + I didn't wash the grills often enough.
