Friend of mine has a 2017 340i, he was a passenger in my E93 328i (3800lbs lol), put my foot to the floor in 2nd gear and you don't even get pushed back into the seat at all. He didn't believe me when I told him my foot was to the floor 
Also, can definitely say with confidence that my 2002 Corolla felt way quicker than any of the cars I've ever owned, because I was basically sitting on the ground, and the greenhouse was huge
