Anyway, yesterday afternoon, neighbourhood ice cream truck was playing a tune I had never heard before.
I thought, wow, this is great. The usual "Turkey in the Straw" the ice cream truck plays has been deemed racist by many. So, ice cream trucks in the US are changing their tune.
I heard the ice cream truck just a while ago and it was playing the same ol' "Turkey in the Straw."
Fricken racist ice cream truck driver, gulolol.
To be honest, the lyrics are fine. It's the other versions of the song that are questionable and there's a bit of history with that song.
