Many of these health regions in BC have had double digit numbers total since the beginning.
I would think that those places have quite a low population so I don't see them having an excess of healthcare workers regardless of outbreak? It's not as if they suddenly have a surplus of doctors and nurses sitting there doing nothing the past 6-8 years. A town like Smithers with a population of 6000 people isn't going to have 500 nurses.
