Word on the street (mostly confirmed by VW Canada from what I've seen) is that the base Golf, Golf Wagon, and Alltrack are dead with the next gen and it's now only GTI and Golf R for all of North America. Maybe with a little luck that means the Golf R Estate finally makes its way over here?
