And they know this.
This is a campaign in order to support a coup attempt, not a "let's keep our democratic process as clean as possible" attempt. They are doing every last thing to make trump America's first dictator.
You and I might just want peace of mind, because we can think critically. And a lot of other people - who voted for either candidate - do too as well. But that's not trump's goal. trump does NOT want peace of mind or peace of anything.
When you see people parroting the "legal votes" line, you know they are responding to the dog whistle which may be more obvious to some than others (and frankly I'm surprised by some of the people buying into it)
