Black was always considered premium in NA like for HiFi equipment n entertainment furniture, but that was never the case in Asia where hifi equipment would be silver or gold same with furniture and even cars (look at all the white luxury cars)
It's an interesting difference!
For me, my TV stand/cabinet is high gloss white, TV is silver, and my pc is a high gloss white case too hehe
