  • $15k for a pre-LCI E93 is wack, so is $10k plus trade.
  • A 335i is not a collector car
  • 6spd is not really that rare for an E93
  • Optional woodgrain is literally the most undesirable interior trim
  • The 335i couldn't be any further from any sense of the word exotic
  • BMWs are not an investment
  • E93 tops are leaky sieves even if you spend jesus-tier almighty lord amounts of time and effort on maintenance, they leak way more than any equivalent soft top
  • New oil change and new recent battery and water pump, as opposed to old oil change and old recent battery and water pump?
  • Charcoal filters are not exotic

Jesus fucking christ.
A manual convertible is a lot more rare than you'd think - for the simple reason that literally nobody wanted one when they were new, and nobody wants one now. We used to sell these cars and I remember once we took a flier on a mint black/black 6spd 335 convertible and it sat FOREVER while we rolled through identical automatics like it was going out of style.

Like even in coupes, 50% of the market either doesn't care about 6spd or can't drive stick. The idea that somebody wants the "performance" of a 6spd (bit of a misnomer) but also a convertible is just a fundamental mismatch.
