I noticed all premiums went up earlier this year, I think around the beginning of summer. Here on central Vancouver Island, Shell went from $0.20/L to $0.23/L above regular while virtually every other brand went up from $0.16-$0.18/L to $0.20/L.
A couple of months ago, premium dropped everywhere except Shell it seems which is still $0.23/L above regular while Chevron 91, for example, is $0.16/L. Chevron 94 is now cheaper than Shell 91 here.
On top of that bullshit, they also reduced the amount of Air Miles you get (from 10 AM per 25L fill to 2 AM per 10L) and they dropped the discount on my corporate Shell card from -$0.06/L to -$0.03/L. If you assume an equivalent cash value of $0.105/AM, went from a $0.102/L discount to a $0.051/L discount (half), which doesn’t even make up the cost difference between other TopTier 91s now.
