Playing around with settings in the first scene... I'm on a Ryzen 3600X and RTX 3070 btw, no OC
1080p Ultra RT with DLSS has it hovering in the 50-60 range.
You have a choice - DLSS with RT, or native res without RT. And the RT is amazing in this game, so you're going to want to use DLSS and live with the soft look. This even applies to the 3080 and maybe even 3090, unless you're playing with a $1500 card at 1080p.
I am going to play around with the settings to try to get that to 70ish while keeping RT on.
Edit: The tough part is because of how DLSS works (I think), the framerate stabilizes a bit when you're not moving. So if you're just looking at your FPS, it will be higher when standing still. You'll have to move around a bit to determine if your settings are improving much.
So you might think you're getting a nice steady 60 fps, but as soon as you start moving, you'll see dips to 50 and below. That's why my goal is 70, I want those dips to be above 60.
