Basically I’ll have to install the game tonight and return the computer by New Years or so, if I want to play this game is it worth it to play it on this computer as the game currently sits?
Otherwise I’m waiting till I buy a console and that has no timeline lol

Right now there are very good things about the game
-The atmosphere is amazing. City looks cool and is varied
-Characters all look crazy and everyone you run across in missions is interesting. Your "friends" are all actually interesting and well written mostly. Random people are interesting to look at (but you'll see some repeats)
-Of course this is made better with ray tracing
-The story so far I think is good. Keanu is fucking great, and he's in here a lot
But that's where the undercooked part of the game comes in. Combat is dull, especially with buggy enemies who often just forget about you and stand there. The way the 2 methods of play combine (stealth and combat) isn't really cohesive.
The crafting system is dull, the interface is bad for it. Inventory, weapon management, etc, is all bad UI. Especially as someone learning to design UI, it's extra noticeable
The city looks amazing but it's shallow. There's nothing to do but look at it. It doesn't feel lived in like a GTA or RDR. Everyone in the city is just a very obvious simple script.
That's about it for me. The potential is there for a great game. Maybe not one that lives up to the 8 years of hype, but a great game. Right now it's an okay game. If you play it now, you'd probably know if you want to play a better version of it later. I know I do.
