16GB DDR4
And a GTX 1070

Basically I’ll have to install the game tonight and return the computer by New Years or so, if I want to play this game is it worth it to play it on this computer as the game currently sits?

Otherwise I’m waiting till I buy a console and that has no timeline lol
I have a similar setup: i7 6700K @ 4.2 GHz, 32 GB DDR4, GTX 1070

Obviously no ray tracing or DLSS on the GTX 1070.

On Medium settings at 1440p, most areas are in the mid-to-high 30 fps range with the occasional dip into the mid-20s in higher density areas.

The 6700K doesn't even come close to 100% (usually 50-60%) while the GTX 1070 is at 99+%. RAM generally hovers around 10 GB of usage.

For a consistent 60 fps, that's Low settings at 1080p. It looks a lot worse, IMO.

The good news is that most settings can be switched on the fly (without reloading the game), so if you know you're getting into a situation where you'll want a higher framerate, you can turn down those settings.
