With a remote control that looked exactly like a TV remote. This is my favourite toy I got in my early years. The siren was so loud, I blew the speaker on day 1. I wish it wasn't on a leash but oh well. Takes 6 D cell batteries though.

Back when Westwood Mall was a.....mall, there was an RC / Hobby shop over there and the guy had a very nice electric train display with village, mountains, cars etc.
He also had a Vanessa's Lunch Box brand new in box and ready to be painted. I wanted that thing so bad and it was always there. Eventually it was gone and as much as I still want one, their prices are way beyond what I'm willing to spend.
