I asked a lawyer friend about the legal ramifications of breaking a court order.
She said that failure to comply with a court order is contempt of court. Contempt of court under our criminal justice system means that the person committing a violation gets jail time.
There is no "get out of jail card" from the Monopoly board game if that idiot breaks a court order.
