Size wise, the IS would be smaller than the Corolla iM I'm coming from. The ES being grandpa feeling is for consideration because it's grandpa. I don't live in Vancouver anymore and the roads here in Toronto are atrocious. The Porsche will continue to serve its purpose as a fun car.
That being said, the Corolla can stick around for a while as I don't need to replace it. It's slow, reliable, somewhat fun, but slow. Did I mention that it's slow? Any how, a new car is just a want. There are time where a higher output car is sometimes required to get in and out of lane changes in Toronto because everyone makes a left turn like the Asian lady in Family Guy at 120km/h+
