I read last night that the City was preparing its road crew for keeping the arterial roads clear. I guess the main roads that I drove on weren't considered arterial enough?

Might've been a road that falls under the province's jurisdiction. The contractors don't have to come out for 48 hours/5cm accumulation. It's stupid.
