I've been flip flopping on the idea of mining some for a few years, I have zero belief in any of it at all but making a few bucks is tempting. Does anyone actually make money at an average joe level just running a few cards these days or not really? I'm talking after all the costs are included (parts, power, AC in the summer, etc). If nothing else I might run a couple just to heat my garage for free in the winter though
Similarly I might toss a couple bucks into buying some just cause why not. Where's a reputable place to see where to buy/store/etc?

The part I can't wrap my head around is just crunching meaningless calculations. Instead of running numbers for medical research it's just burning electricity and circuit boards up for gibberish.
