You can be NDP, Liberal, Green, Conservative, everyone should have an easy process to vote, there should never be any esoteric barriers to do so.
It blows my mind that just the simple ability of being able to vote is still a contested issue in the US. This goes back to the requirement of a literacy test to vote:

This just shows you what we've been saying, entrenched ideologies are extremely difficult to purge from the lexicon. It's amazing these types of battles are still being fought, if the Republicans had a choice, they'd go back to the landowner requirement to vote.
Juxtaposed to Canada, it's so fascinating we don't have these issues, we've made it as easy as possible to vote here.
Our issue here is that people simply don't bother voting, we have some of the worst voting stats in any modern democracy
At least no one here is actively stopping you from doing so.
