Have you ever heard of the Affordable Care Act? A system setup for a country as vast and wealthy as the United States, a system first of its kind to offer insurance to folks who could never attain it previously, crashed the very same day as its launch.
You think a country a fraction of the size and GDP could do better? Have you not followed the reports of the massive influx of calls to book quarantine hotels the first day of its rollout? Same thing, hours long hold times.
It is simply not realistic to expect any system or call center to support that many interactions on launch date.
If you waited a damn year, you can wait a few fucking days.
