The Lime e-scooters I've ridden are pretty slow up hills.
The brakes are also really sketchy and they develop some pretty massive play in the steering if ridden in bumpy areas.

Likelihood of me riding one:
Richmond Railway Greenway: 7/10
Arbutus Greenway: 2/10; a bit too chaotic for the brakes on those things
North Vancouver (no offense to Bowinn): You couldn't pay me to ride one down a hill there, inb4 a massive concussion
