both those groups of people want to talk about how tough the last year has been. the second group, for better or for worse have not had it as tough as the first group.
i guess i'm just tired of hearing about how challenging it is to be stuck at home, or how brutal it is that the gym is closed or some shit.
i apologize if I have come across as condescending towards office workers. I have several folks that fit that description in my life. I guess I am a little jealous too. I can promise you though if I was the one at home I would be keeping my head down and my opinions to myself, especially around people that i know are getting kicked in the gut already.
These business closures are a raw subject, and it's possible that it's unrelatable for folks that simply aren't affected by it.

RS is a good place, a safe place to just let it out. I think many people are just tired of Covid now. Covid fatigue. The impact of this pandemic on people's mental health is HUGE.
I go to RS to read about what peeps are saying on this thread. For me, this is a safe haven compared to the Internet trolls that spew their negativity on the other platforms during this cancel culture that we live in.
This pandemic has been tough on me mentally because of all the negativity we see happening now. -dark dreams, angry thoughts, venting about things when calling friends or chatting with friends online etc.
I am confident that this pandemic is gonna end sooner or later.
