Including taxes, maintenance, and insurance? I can't imagine an annual service at Porsche is cheap.
I think if you plan time off or a trip around it and think of it as a holiday it makes sense to do something like this. It's a slightly different type of car but I know when I was dreaming of owning an Aston Martin I realized that for what the taxes cost I could have a holiday in the UK with my wife and rent an Aston and get to drive it on fun roads, instead of just sitting in traffic on my way to work with it here.
