You are correct, they are different. I checked last night at ICBC.com
My Covid (2020) rebate was $220 for one vehicle; the 2021 rebate is estimated $440, with my renewal up in December. Insurance next is projected to be significantly cheaper as well.
This is just my opinion, but if the injury lawyers are taking out radio ads saying the new ICBC scheme is a terrible idea, it's likely a brilliant idea.
