Yeah spraying a load on your car helps with the actual wash process. Do it in front of your neighbours and they'll see how well you take care of your piece.
I got a cheap foam cannon (MATCC) from Amazon with a cheap hose at first but just went whole hog and got a MTM kit (
https://carzilla.ca/collections/bran...-mtm-kit-1-pro). My hose, gun, and wand cost nearly twice as much as my pressure washer now but I love it. Saves me time over the cheap gear and time is precious for me right now.
