They don't need to go after WWE, they just need to do well on their own. They can get Raw type ratings (actually they already beat them in important demos) on Wednesdays.
WWE tried going after them and failed miserably, and killed their own show... They'd have to move Raw to Wednesdays to try it again
Tony Khan has said that they won't ever go to Mondays because they don't want to compete with NFL
