People claim everything new is a slippery slope to something horrible. It might actually be the case, but the term is so overused by fear mongers making insane leaps it's become... meaningless? I don't really know the right word. But slippery slopes are a slippery slope from something that may actually happen to the downright absurd. Maybe I'm just sick of right wingers with their endless slippery slope fallacies panicking about every tiny change that may happen. Like no, a woman becoming president isn't a slippery slope to all men being locked in cages with their balls chopped off.
