Crank it back a few years and the chips I remember was called ThunderCrunch, one of the best kettle chips during those times.

Thunder Crunch (originally owned by Nally's) was bought by Old Dutch and as part of the acquisition, Old Dutch rebranded them to Dutch Crunch. They still own and hold the copy right to the brand. I think you can find the radio interview from a radio station in Calgary which interviewed the CEO of Old Dutch, they go into some good detail behind the consolidation and re-brand.
