I have chronic red eyes (confession its due to smoking weed). I went to my optometrist who said stop taking visine since it actually makes your eyes more red even though I've been using visine forever. As you can imagine having red eyes all the times is a problem especially when going to work because people literally think you're high all the time.
Anyways my optometrist said either use
Thealoz Duo or
I-Drop Pur Gel. I have tried both of these and prefer Thealoz because its less thick and doesn't blur your vision like I-Drop Gel. It takes a while to work but my eyes definitely don't get as red anymore and they also don't itch and burn all the time.
