It's, like my diaper changer, overkill so it's quite good. We initially used a really crappy one from our BIL that had a 2 inch screen and little adjustability before getting the Eufy. My wife insisted on something that didn't use Wifi for fears that someone would hack into it - this was post birth so I was in the "Don't want no smoke from that lady" phase of fatherhood and just bought whatever was highly recommended but not crazy expensive (the Nanit is the Rolls Royce of baby monitors). |

I'm kind of in the same boat as your wife. I have a small worry about security, but actually the bigger issue is having to sign up for ANOTHER online service, make password, etc. The idea of a closed circuit connection has a lot of appeal to me.
