Dealership Filled My Car With 87 Octane

I just picked up a 2022 Veloster N yesterday at Maple Ridge Hyundai, another older salesman took over the original salesman to help me deliver the vehicle.

The salesman said he had a fun time getting gas in the snow in the car prior to delivery. He quickly mentioned that a quick selling point of these Hyundai's is that this car only needs 87 Octane on this car and that filling 91 and anything higher is a waste of money and that it only makes the oil and gas guys richer.

I didn't think anything of that at first until I drove home and noticed that the car smells like those 2000's white work vans. The owner's manual suggests 91 Octane only and I'm worried 70% of the first 1,000 break-in period will be on 87 Octane.

In addition, there was scratch on the dash that someone's shoe stepped or kicked the glovebox. This car is a new and just landed from a factory order.

What do you think I should ask the dealer to do to fix these issues? I messaged the original salesman but he's in the UK at the moment. Should I call the sales manager tomorrow or just email the GM / CC the sales team?
