I test negative, my girlfriend tests positive. Our flight literally hours away from departing. I ended up deciding to miss my flight and stay down here with her.
She's completely asymptomatic. Very odd she tested positive, and me negative.

this is why I can't leave the country - until we're past the stage of denying a timely return home it's just not feasible.
no way i could spend an extra 10 days away from a planned return date.
