Food has been the thing that’s fucked up my life the most financially as of late. I can’t see a way to eat healthy and spend much less than $50 a day for a couple if you want to eat meat and vegetables as opposed to lots of pasta, soups and packaged stuff. I realize that I spend a fair bit on food, but considering it’s such a massive part of health that definitely isn’t something people should have to skimp on in a developed nation and just say “well that’s what it takes”
Food is the one I notice the most for sure, the cost of groceries especially meat and produce is so much more than it was per-pandemic. I make conscious choices when it comes to buying meat, before I was more of don't even look at the prices if I want it buy it.
