Shops in the GTA stopped selling Federal due to increased costs and manufacturing/supply chain delays. I picked up a set of Federal Evoluzion ST-1s for pennies on the dollar (clearance price) and they've held up well over the past few years, including some DE days. By no means am I a good driver (still a noob) but I got laughed at and ridiculed by some Pcar funboiz until I either kept up with them or outpaced them in. Instructors were even impressed.
These tires will probably will be good for another 2 years given how little I drive. I believe 1010Tires may be the only shop that might (emphasis on might) still carry or be willing to order them in, but I could be wrong. It took a while for them to be broken in and for them to really perform well. Having said that, and like westopher, I wouldn't buy them again.
