Would their goal be to have no power, since they can’t have all the power? Seems like what any party would do as the goal is to, you know, govern. If NDP is woven this tightly into the liberal government it means the power that hangs in the balance is theirs to swing one way or the other.
56% of Canadians voted for a government left of center, 35% voted right and about 9% voted for France. It could be pretty clearly argued that where the balance of power sits now is exactly what the majority wants.
