Just get an ebike like this instead. Most people I see using those e scooters are drug addicts, people with DUI's and others who don't have a drivers license.

This company is out of Vancouver. It uses a 1000 watt Bafang mid drive that's actually closer to 1500 watts. Will do over 50 KM/H. Hills will be no problem. Because it looks like a regular bike cops will not bother you unless you fly by them at top speed.
