She was awarded the order of of Canada for journalism yesterday.
What I didn’t realize is since her last broadcast in 2014 she’s now in a care home with Alzheimer’s and basically doesn’t know anyone/remember anything. Fuck, terrible |

Grew up watching Global News, feels like Squire has been on since I was a little kid.
Glad that her decades of work in broadcasting was recognized and her family can have such wonderful memories of her.
