I bought some yellow bulbs for my old E30 325i for the fog lights and I only ever used them when it snowed or there was fog. I didn't get busted by popo in East Van but it was a risk I was aware of and was prepare to deal with the consequences because it looked sick. In hindsight, I have no regrets because Euro and quite frankly, they looked really good.
